  • Plan to attend the 2006 International Absence and Disability Management Conference, "Cents and Sensibility: Achieving a Profitable and Healthy Workplace" at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, July 16 - 19, 2006. PARTNERSHIP NEWS

  • Disability and Return to Work Survey Online. Currently the Partnership disability taskforce is conducting a survey to better understand how employers approach disability management. The information from this survey will be used to help us identify best practices. The survey can be found at www.workplacementalhealth.org/DisabSurvey.cfm. We look forward to your responses! The survey will close at the end of June. Make sure to get your responses in soon. A big thank you to all those who have already responded!

  • Latest Issue of Mental HealthWorks Now Available! Through your affiliation with the Partnership, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to share our free quarterly newsletter with your colleagues.   • WORKPLACE MENTAL HEALTH NEWS

    • OneStorm, a Free Online Hurricane Preparedness Program, Launches. OneStorm is a free online service designed to fill a need for personal preparedness that became so evident with last year's severe hurricane season. Through this service, individuals can create personalized hurricane plans for their families based on location and needs. Employers and emergency managers can also purchase corporate and community preparedness reports to assess the readiness of their employees and residents. OneStorm can be accessed online at www.onestorm.org.

    • The State of Depression in America. This report from the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance examines the economic, social and individual burdens of this illness and explores opportunities to improve the availability and quality of care while working toward recovery and better lives for all Americans.
